Your engagement with Plovm and use of its offerings are subject to these User Agreement conditions ("Terms"). The provisions detailed herein pertain to Plovm's services. By setting up an account or utilizing any Plovm platform, you consent to abide by these Terms.

Our Services

We are delighted to present Plovm's services to you! Plovm offers two distinct products:

Plovm Service

The original Plovm Service encompasses a broad array of offerings such as products, functionalities, apps, services, technologies, and software we provide and deploy across our platform. This includes the Plovm website and our mobile applications for both iOS and Android devices (available on the App Store and Google Play).

Plovm Adapt

Plovm Adapt is our advanced accessibility testing and deployment platform, available exclusively as a web-based service. This service enables you to:

  • Test website accessibility comprehensively

  • Deploy accessibility improvements to your web properties

  • Ensure inclusive web experiences for all users

  • Comply with accessibility standards and guidelines

Important: Plovm Adapt is only accessible through web browsers and is not available as a mobile application on iOS (App Store) or Android (Google Play). Additionally, Plovm Adapt does not offer messaging, recording features, arena functionality, or Questville features. It is focused exclusively on accessibility testing and deployment.

Both services share the core commitments and policies outlined in these Terms, with specific functionality and platform availability differences noted where applicable.

Interaction and Notifications

It may be necessary for us to reach out to you through various forms of communication such as emails or notifications within the product itself, whether to address your inquiries, update you on product-related matters, or inform you about research, terms, and policies.

Eligibility

To become a valued member of Plovm, there are certain criteria you need to meet:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services

  • We reserve the right to terminate your account if it has been previously disabled due to legal or policy violations

  • Registered sex offenders are not allowed to use Plovm services

Your Commitments

As part of our dedication to offering our Services, we ask for your adherence to the following obligations. Plovm Services (including both Plovm Service and Plovm Adapt) must not:

  1. Be utilized in a manner that breaches Plovm's Usage Policy, which includes but is not limited to any activity that is unlawful, goes against any legal or regulatory directive, or infringes on the rights of others;

  2. Engage with individuals below the age of consent in a way that could lead to abuse or exploitation, or in any manner that is forbidden by law or regulation;

  3. Create or facilitate content that is restricted or outlawed by legal or regulatory bodies;

  4. Be involved in the display or monetization of content that is illegal or against regulatory guidelines;

  5. Serve as a tool for decision-making without sufficient human judgment, particularly in matters affecting an individual's legal standing, economic status, opportunities in life, employment prospects, fundamental rights, or could lead to material or mental harm. While Plovm Services aim to aid users in finding pertinent information, the ultimate decisions rest with the user;

  6. Be applied for illegal surveillance, pursuing, or harassment activities;

  7. Be employed to authenticate or determine personal identities using shared imagery or content that depicts facial or other physical, biological, or behavioral identifiers;

  8. Be utilized to amass data or deduce emotional states, gender, age, or specific traits/personalities based on visual representations of individuals or the content they share;

Usage Policy

1. Content Creation and Sharing

Note: Content creation and sharing primarily applies to Plovm Service. Plovm Adapt is focused on accessibility testing and deployment and does not include content sharing features.

For Plovm Service users: We empower you to create and share content that positively impacts the community. However, we strictly prohibit content that could cause harm, influence political processes, spread sexually explicit material, or incite violence.

2. Ethical Content Conduct

Creativity thrives within boundaries of respect and integrity. We expect all Plovm users to use our services in ways that align with moral standards, avoiding any activities that could be harmful, misleading, or infringing upon the rights of any individual or entity.

2-1 Protection of Minors

Plovm strictly forbids any content or activity that could be interpreted as exploiting or abusing children, legally prohibited or otherwise. Imagery or text sexualizing minors is expressly banned.

2-2 Safeguarding Children from Exploitation

The wellbeing of children is non-negotiable. Plovm outlaws content or actions that pertain to grooming children for exploitation, especially of a sexual nature, which encompasses communicating with a minor with illicit intent.

2-3 Inviolability of Consent

Plovm stands firm against content that depicts, endorses, or encourages intimate activities lacking mutual consent. This includes any non-consensual intimate acts.

2-4 Prohibition of Sexual Commerce

Any content that solicits or promotes commercial sexual services or activities is not permitted on Plovm. This encompasses inducement or organization of sexual exchanges for remuneration.

2-5 Anti-Trafficking Stance

Plovm actively condemns and prohibits content or actions that facilitate or describe human trafficking, including forced labor, sexual exploitation, and similar abuses.

2-6 Self-Harm and Suicide Policy

Any content that portrays, advocates, or encourages self-injury or suicide is strictly forbidden on Plovm. We are committed to supporting the well-being of our users and prohibit materials that could potentially endanger the mental health of individuals.

2-7 Restriction on Explicit Imagery

Content that graphically portrays violence or gory scenes is not allowed on Plovm. We aim to maintain a community space free from distressing and unnecessarily graphic content.

2-8 Counter-Terrorism Efforts

We firmly stand against any content that represents, glorifies, or assists terrorism and violent extremism. Plovm is dedicated to creating a safe space free from terrorist ideologies and activities.

2-9 No Tolerance for Violence Advocacy

Content that threatens violence or incites violent behavior towards any individual or group is strictly prohibited. Plovm promotes a peaceful and respectful community environment.

2-10 Combating Hate Speech

Plovm does not tolerate content that discriminates against or vilifies any group or individual based on personal characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. We are an inclusive platform that values diversity and equality.

2-11 Anti-Harassment Policy

Harassing behavior, including threats, intimidation, and bullying, is not acceptable on Plovm. Our community should be a safe place for all users, free from harassment in any form.

2-12 Integrity in Communication

Plovm prohibits misleading content that could have a negative impact on public well-being, including false information about health, safety, or civic processes. Authenticity is key to fostering trust within our community.

2-13 Identity Respect

Impersonation undermines trust and is not permitted on Plovm. Users must not falsely represent themselves as another person, organization, or entity, nor create accounts for anyone other than themselves without explicit authorization.

2-14 Digital Security

Content that distributes or promotes malware, exploits, or harmful software designed to compromise the security of users or systems is strictly prohibited. Plovm is committed to maintaining a secure digital environment for all users.

2-15 Fair Use of Services

Any misuse of Plovm's service channels, including reporting and appeals, that disrupts the platform's intended use or operation is not allowed. We encourage responsible use of all service features to ensure fairness and efficiency.

2-16 Protection of Account Integrity

Engaging in unauthorized transactions involving Plovm accounts or user data, such as selling, purchasing, or trading accounts or their components, undermines the integrity of the platform and is strictly forbidden.

2-17 Respect for Privacy and Property

Sharing private information without consent or infringing on intellectual property rights is against Plovm's principles. We expect all users to honor the privacy and property rights of others and to share only content they are legally entitled to distribute.

2-18 Intellectual Property Preservation

The replication or unauthorized use of Plovm's proprietary elements, including any form of reverse engineering or creating derivative works, is not permitted. We protect our intellectual property to ensure the unique value of our services is preserved.

3. Usage Constraints

3-1 Topic Engagement Boundaries

At Plovm, we may occasionally place restrictions on the service's engagement with certain subjects, particularly those involving private information or sensitive current affairs.

3-2 Access Restrictions

Plovm enforces access controls when activities do not align with our user guidelines, including but not limited to, hate speech and violent content. This is especially pertinent when such activities involve minors, which contradicts our core values. Violations may trigger a range of responses from Plovm, from warnings to feature restrictions, temporary suspensions, or even permanent account deactivation in extreme cases.

4. Data Privacy and Integrity

For us, the dignity and privacy of individuals are paramount. We do not tolerate the sharing of others' personal or sensitive information without consent or any action that infringes upon intellectual property rights. We expect you to respect these rights and only share content you're authorized to share.

Your privacy is a top priority at Plovm. We comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations, ensuring that your information is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. We never sell your data, and we're committed to maintaining its integrity through various anonymization techniques.

5-1 Consent and Discretion

We respect your decision to share or withhold information within Plovm. It's crucial to exercise discretion when sharing details, particularly personal or identifiable information that may be misused by others. The power of choice is in your hands, ensuring you remain in control of your privacy.

Plovm Adapt Specific Terms

When using Plovm Adapt, the following additional terms apply:

  1. Accessibility Testing: You may use Plovm Adapt to test websites and web applications for accessibility compliance. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate rights and permissions to test the websites you submit to the platform.

  2. Deployment of Improvements: Any accessibility improvements deployed through Plovm Adapt are your responsibility. While we provide tools to facilitate accessibility enhancements, you maintain full responsibility for the final implementation and its effects on your web properties.

  3. Data Processing: When testing websites through Plovm Adapt, we may process data from those websites solely for the purpose of accessibility analysis. This data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and is not shared with third parties.

  4. Compliance: While Plovm Adapt helps facilitate accessibility testing and improvements, ultimate responsibility for legal compliance with accessibility standards (such as WCAG, ADA, Section 508, etc.) rests with you as the website owner or operator.

Notification of Policy Changes

In case of changes to this Policy, you will be promptly notified. In that case, you will receive a notification asking if you want to continue to use our services and, therefore, agreeing to the new Policy.
