Maria is an Honorary Founder of Plovm and a passionate advocate for neurodiversity and universal design. With over five years of experience in data and its real-world applications, and four years studying neuroscience and bioinformatics at the University of Nottingham, she brings a rare combination of scientific thinking and human-centred perspective to everything she is involved in.

Her background spans data science, SaaS marketing automation at Bas Kommunikasjon, and full-stack development — always with a focus on building technology that is intuitive, robust, and human-centred. She founded Circular Startup: Venture Studio at Startup Norway aand previously served as a delegate for the NUS at the Disability Society at the University of Nottingham, reflecting a long-standing commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

Her belief that technology should adapt to people — not the other way around — helped shape the foundation of what Plovm stands for.
